Kirsten Compton
Registered Nurse in Practice
Originally from Haida Gwaii, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at UBC Okanagan in Kelowna. I moved to Dawson Creek 14 years ago to work in the Emergency Department and have been proud to call this community home ever since. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in nearly every department of the hospital, contributing to a well-rounded and dynamic nursing career.
Outside of work, I’m a busy parent to three kids—most of my free time is happily spent at the rink, cheering them on from the stands. When I do have downtime, I enjoy reading, cross-country skiing, and spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking.
I’m excited to be joining the team as the new Nurse in Practice at Mile Zero Family Practice and look forward to supporting patients and families in our community.
